Along with your experienced guide you will paddle at a relaxing pace and explore the shallow, calm, blue-green waters of the back country of Key West. You will glide through the winding mangrove creeks and paddle through inches of water, where you can easily view and learn about the geological structure of the Keys along with its inhabitants, all from the comfort of your kayak. Your adventure will give you a chance to view the mangrove environment up close, along with its marine life including tropical fish, crabs, sea stars, jellyfish, sea cucumbers, sponges and various aquatic birds. Every trip leads us on a different adventure!

Just finished the Key West, Eco tour with Fury and just wow! The entire experience was great! Definitely a pretty active trip, but extremely doable! Matthew and Jesse were really phenomenal! They definitely made the entire experience so much fun. The food and drinks were =o*** chefs kiss!

Heather T was an amazing guide and our family of 6 had the best kayak experience with her! She made it fun and educational, just the right mix of info, nature, and fun. We saw manatee, tarpon, lots of jellies that don't sting when you hold them, a spiny starfish she found for us, baby stingray, spotted sea hare, iquana, ospreys, nurse sharks, just truly amazing. This will be our tradition activity from now on. She even took our family photo at one point

Learning about the ecosystems in the mangroves our guide Rachel was awesome ! It was very hands on with Rachel bringing up different sea creatures from starfish to horseshoe crab and many other it really was a fun and informative tour we loved it!

A very enjoyable 2 hours of easy paddling through the waters around and in the mangroves. Our tour guide Bethany was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the eco systems, and did a great job of leading the group. We even paddled around manatees, over some nurse sharks (not dangerous), spotted various wildlife above and below the water. It was interesting and fun. Highly recommended.

My wife and I did the 2-hour Mangrove Kayak Eco Tour and really enjoyed it. Our guide was Lindsay (not sure if that's how she spells it) and she was great. She was very knowledgeable about the ecosystem and marine life that we encountered on the tour. She was able to catch a horseshoe crab, starfish, upside-down jellyfish, and a couple other marine creatures for us to look at before releasing them back into the water. The water is shallow and clear which makes it easy to observe all life forms under the water surface. We chose to each have our own kayak and I would recommend that - it makes it easier to maneuver in the mangrove tunnels and ensures you will still be talking to each other at the end of the tour. We will definitely be going back to Lazy Dog when we return to Key West.

My husband, daughter (17 years old) and I enjoyed this morning excursion. Bethany was our guide and she was fabulous!! Knowledgeable, engaging, and patient with the inexperienced kayakers (easy trip). Kayaking through the mangroves was enchanting and seeing manatees was amazing!! The kayak tour was interesting, relaxing and educational. Our guide was very knowledgable and gave us a great overview of the Mangrove and we saw a manatee, sharks, etc.
Honestly, this whole trip, I am tired of the strong request for tips at the end of every tour and actually this one was pretty gentle.
