Amazing experience exploring the Gulf of Mexico!!!!!!

We highly recommend this excursion. My wife and I were visiting key west on our honeymoon. The trip was fantastic; the crew (Spin, Chuck, and JC) were a team of superstars. Chuck (the captain) drove the boat out to a secluded spot where Spin was able to take us through a 25 minute guided tour of the mangroves. The crew put out a fantastic assortment of sandwiches (vegetarian options too), chicken tenders, fruit and veggies, and had an abundance of drinks (non alcoholic & alcoholic).
Afterwards, we headed over to a sandbar in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico where they set up multiple paddle boards, had a bucket of frisbees, and an assortment of other sports gear to throw around while hanging on the sandbar. Additionally, the crew set up a floating lounge pad to chill on.
I’d highly recommend this tour; worth every penny.

The crew (JC and Brynn) and Captain Chuck made sure that our group had an amazing time. JC was very knowledgeable about the local vegitation, marine and wildlife we saw on the guided kayak tour. Love spending time out on the sandbar relaxing and playing Frisbee. We will definitely book another trip with Sunset, and hopefully Chuck and his crew on our next trip. 10/10 would recommend.

What a great way to spend a few hours. Captain Chuck, Brynn, and Jc we're great. Boat was clean, food was great and the crew couldn't do enough for us. I will definitely do it again.

Great experience. Mangrove tour was very cool. Sandbar hangout was fun with lots of drinks. Captain and crew could not be more accommodating. Would recommend to everyone visiting Key West.

Kayak and Sandbar Adventure

The crew and boat were very nice! I enjoyed that there wasn’t a huge crowd on board and that there was a good selection for lunch. If you’re thinking that the kayak tour is something long and spectacular, please lower your expectations. The time it took for the crew to put people on the kayaks was longer than the actual kayak experience (that was 15-20 minutes). I wish the kayaking was longer and more areas to see. Over all, it was a calm day and the sandbar was fine, just a time to float for 2 hours with a drink in hand. Relaxing day.
Fun but not quite as described

We took the trip in November. We had a lot of fun and the crew was really great! The sandbar was near but with cooler water and temps in November, it was y quite as fun as it would be in warmer months (although everyone got in the water and had fun). The kayaking was great but we didn’t see much so it wasn’t quite the ‘500 species’ as described. And there wasn’t snorkeling to do either so that also wasn’t as described. All in all it was a fun day but not sure it was worth the price
